ToT-Ally Diverse: A Long-Term Training of Trainers for People with Diverse Abilities
ToT-Ally Diverse is a new inclusive Training of Trainers (ToT) for young people with diverse abilities who want to become trainers in non-formal youth work. The programme was designed to be barrier-free from the very beginning and is based on the European ETS Competence Model. Across three residential seminars and accompanying online phases, the project offers a clear learning pathway: from the basics of training work, to practical application, and ultimately to independently delivering trainings. Personal support, accessible learning environments, Universal Design and inclusive communication are integral elements of the concept.
Target group:
12 participants (18+) from Erasmus+ programme countries with a recognised disability, initial experience in international youth work, and a willingness to take part in all modules. Working languages: English and/or International Sign.Dates:
• Module 1: Weimar, 01–07 November 2025
• Module 2: Hondarribia (Spain), 24–30 April 2026
• Module 3: Slovenia, Summer 2026The project strengthens diversity, representation and quality within the European training field and puts the values of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities into practice: self-determination, visibility and equal participation. The project is co-funded by the European Union.
