International Training “4Z. Between us – Learning as a relational practice” – Kick-off in Tauchen (Austria)
From April 10 to 16, 2026, the kick-off of the international training »4Z. Between us – Learning as a relational practice« took place in Tauchen, Austria, hosted by the partner organization Blue Whale Education Center.
The training focused on the question of how learning can be understood and shaped as a deeply interpersonal, relational process.
Based on the idea that learning does not happen in isolation but emerges through interaction with others, participants explored relationships as a central space for development, meaning, and transformation. They reflected on individual influences such as values, needs, and experiences, as well as how these shape learning and teaching processes.
Through dialogue, co-creation, and shared experimentation, learning was approached not as mere knowledge transfer, but as a process grounded in trust, curiosity, and mutual presence. Particular attention was given to how safety and risk can coexist within learning environments, and how differences and conflicts can be used as valuable opportunities for learning.
In a time characterized by fast answers and superficial learning, the training deliberately emphasized slowing down and fostering genuine human connection.
The second part of the program will take place in July 2026 in Weimar.
