»Just do it« or what is social justice?
Age group: from 15 years
Number of participants: up to 15 people
Background
If you try hard enough, you can achieve anything. This belief unites rappers and influencers. Nike makes billions in sales with the slogan »Just do it«.
What is the truth behind all these stories of social success and prestige through hard work that are so popular?
Objectives & procedure
In this workshop, we will critically analyse which social inequalities are concealed when we believe that everyone is the architect of their own happiness?
Why do not only the internet, but also many politicians, teachers and other adults love this idea? Who benefits from such narratives? And what should be done for more social justice instead – what ideas do you have?
