Background
The empowerment workshop offers people who (have to) experience racism a safe space in which they can talk about their experiences and needs without being questioned. Participants are supported in contextualizing their experiences and jointly develop strategies for dealing with racism.
Aims & procedure
With the help of various inputs and methods, the participants’ own resources for coping with racist experiences in everyday life are uncovered and self-empowerment is developed and expanded.
Notes
The workshop is aimed at Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
