Rabir Zreig

Rabir Zreig is a Masters student in International Social Work at the University of Applied Sciences in Erfurt. Before this, he was studying Educational Science and Sociology in Potsdam and Örebrö, Sweden. Apart from studying, Rabir worked as an educational assistant in two elementary schools in Berlin, where he engaged with children with behavioral or learning challenges. In Erfurt, he worked as a student assistant with the german childrens TV station »KIKA« as well as at the University. Additionally he had the chance to gather some experience as an social worker in Kampala, Uganda.

During these experiences, Rabir was able to develop a particular interest in the structures behind (global) inequality, the challenges of sustainable development and in human rights. Additionally, his focal points include the oppurtunities of diversity and transculturality, as well as the importance of communication and language in conflict management.
