Koloinjanahary Razanajatovo Manjakanirina

Razanajatovo Manjakanirina Koloinjanahary comes from Madagascar, but is simply called Koloina. He is a German teacher and would like to convey and make visible his contribution to the topic of colonialism as part of his culture, his educational background and also his opinion.

He took part in the kulturweit Incoming Program of the German UNESCO Commission and did an internship at the EJBW. He also took part in the seminars at the EJBW. During his internship, he developed the workshop »Cultural change in Madagascar due to colonialism and its consequences« together with Leevan Ramiarijaona Andoniaina and carried it out with young people during the »Decolonize in political education« programme.

This is what the workshop was about: the effects of colonization are still strongly felt in Madagascar today. Parallel to the political instability on the island, the cultural identity of the Madagascans is being criticized. The values of this culture are not appreciated.

He would like to work on these issues: Education, colonialism, identity and diversity, fairy tales and novellas as teaching and learning methods.
His pedagogical approaches: Lecturing, play, drawings and pictures are, in his opinion, the best means of passing on knowledge.

Koloina can offer workshops in German and French.
