Juliana Odamea Asare

Juliana Odamea Asare, a vibrant and dedicated individual, hails from Ghana and currently resides in Erfurt, Germany. Armed with a solid academic foundation, Juliana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a Journalism major from the prestigious Ghana Institute of Journalism. Building upon this, she pursued a Master’s degree in Development Communication from the same institution, showcasing her commitment to understanding the dynamics of communication in the context of societal progress.

Currently, Juliana is further expanding her horizons by pursuing another Master’s degree in Global Communication: Politics and Society at the University of Erfurt, Germany. Simultaneously, she is engaged in this qualifications program, demonstrating her dedication to deepening her knowledge in critical areas that align with her passion for positive societal change.

Juliana’s passion extends beyond the professional realm. She is deeply committed to making a positive impact through civic education in the realms of Human Rights Education, Migration, Colonialism, Discrimination, and Women Empowerment. Her commitment to these causes is not only evident in her academic and professional pursuits but also in her role as a volunteer and an advocate.

Outside of her pursuits in social impact, Juliana finds solace in nature and embraces the tranquility of hiking. This love for the outdoors not only serves as a personal outlet but also reflects her appreciation for the interconnectedness of humanity with the environment.

As a civic educator, Juliana is a dedicated individual, combining academic prowess, professional and personal experience, as well as a passion for social impact to create positive change in the society. Her journey is not only marked by academic achievements but is also a testament to her commitment to contributing meaningfully to the betterment of society through non-formal education.
