Chiara Bergholz is an open, lively and creative person who is passionate and committed to getting young people interested in socially relevant topics and supporting them in their development. With a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a current Master’s degree in Applied Ethics and Conflict Management at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, she has a broad theoretical knowledge in the areas of intersexuality, sex education, sustainability and animal ethics.
Chiara is a volunteer political activist who can motivate and inspire young people thanks to her stage experience as a singer and rapper, among other things. She has practical experience in conducting workshops with young people in schools on topics such as sustainability, animal ethics and speciesism as well as gender and sexual diversity. She meets the participants where they are and creates spaces for development and interactive learning. Her diverse methods include interactive elements such as open discussions, small group work, movement in the room, working with the body, expression and feeling, also using creative-artistic approaches with music, especially German hip hop.
Chiara works in Thuringia and nationwide and aims to educate and enlighten young people from the age of 10, encourage them to engage with political issues, promote individual personal development and thus a fairer society overall. Her workshops can be held in German and English.
Using creative methods, she encourages young people to think about political issues and themselves, to question themselves and the world in a critically reflective way. In 2023, she successfully completed the qualification program »Migrants as Youth Work Professionals« at the European Youth Education Center Weimar (EJBW). As a professional trainer for political education programs, Chiara Bergholz is a motivated and committed personality who addresses young people at eye level and inspires them with her cheerful and approachable manner.
