Annahita Hesso
Anahita was born and raised in Damascus, Syria. She studied theater technology and archaeology in Damascus.
She is currently studying for a Master’s degree in »Education, Culture & Anthropology« at the University of Jena. Her focus is on literature, language & society and religion.
How did she get into civic education? In war zones (such as Syria), people are suffering greatly, there is chaos and the principle of human rights is lacking. In addition, people have to prepare themselves for a reformulation of many concepts.
That is why Anahita took part in the EJBW 2021/2022 training program. Anahita is convinced that political education is an important way to protect human rights. She is interested in research areas and workshops on human rights, integration, migration, discrimination and stereotypes.
She offers her workshops in German and Arabic.
