Ity-Moïse Fikiri
Mr. FIKIRI Ity-Moïse holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and in Management of European cooperation projects from the University of Strasbourg in France.
After his degree in Economic Sciences and Management, option: Socio-economics at the Catholic University of Bukavu, Congo DR where he is originally from.
He worked in the rural development, peace and women’s security program before joining the young professionals program aimed at the reform of the public administration of his country.
He was assigned to the Ministry of the Interior where he worked for several years as a civil servant in the Civil Protection Department. The main missions for this position had concerned the prevention of risks and management of natural disasters.
Later in 2018, will obtain a merit scholarship to further his studies. An opportunity for him to make mini session at the European Parliament in Strasbourg and working visits to the European institutions in Brussels.
After his master’s degree, he worked with organizations involved in International Cooperation and Solidarity on various themes including the issues of colonial history of Africa, colonial heritage, independence in Africa, neocolonial. In addition to these issues, he also works on migration and non-formal vocational training which will be the subject of his next thesis.
