Isaac Quartey
Isaac Quartey, a dynamic and passionate Ghanaian, was born in the vibrant Greater Accra Region. Isaac embarked on his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the prestigious University of Ghana, Legon. His thirst for knowledge led him to his current pursuit, a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Economics in Germany.
Isaac is not only dedicated to academic excellence but is also deeply committed to making a positive impact on society. Engaging with the Erasmus Youth Project in Mulhausen, he delved into multifaceted topics, including combating Fake News, creating comics on sustainability, exploring the art of storytelling games, and gaining insights into establishing one’s own organization. Above all, he is a freelance educator as he acquired his honed skills under the watch and supervision of Europaeische Jugendbildungs & Begegnungsstaette Weimar (EJBW).
Currently serving as an Event Coordinator at Hult Prize in Schmalkalden, Isaac contributes to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship on tackling issues related to the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs). Simultaneously, he volunteers his time and skills at Nature Freunde and Culture goes Europe, reflecting his commitment to environmental causes and cultural exchange.
Residing in Schmalkalden, Isaac is a free-spirited individual with a profound passion for shaping education in a friendly and non-formal manner. His dedication extends to youth education, particularly through innovative methods such as gamification and comics, aiming to make learning a more engaging and enjoyable experience.
Isaac’s enthusiasm for pressing global issues is evident in his advocacy for topics such as climate change, sustainability, diversity, colonialism, and the identification of fake news. His love for nature is not merely a sentiment but a lifestyle, as evidenced by his hobbies of mountain climbing and hiking.
Proficient in English, Isaac is a forward-thinking individual who embraces the challenges of the future.
