Bothinah Odah is a sociologist and studied at the University of Damascus in Syria.
In Damascus, she worked for 25 years as a teacher with deaf people and people with disabilities. She also supported young girls under the age of 18 there as a social worker. Then she came to Germany.
Bothinah works on the topics of racism and anti-Muslim racism. She is interested in racism and how to counter it, as well as clarifying false stereotypes about Islam.
She offers her workshops in German and Arabic.
