Colonialism in Cameroon

Background
Cameroon as a former colony has over the years recorded colonial activities. In this workshop, we will be looking at the colonization of Cameroon from the 1800s until now. Focus will be placed in areas like the A little history of the name Cameroon, the agenda behind colonization of Cameroon, methods of administration, impact and current situation of the country after colonization.
Aims
Discussing colonization, and the agenda behind colonizing Cameroon. While looking into the methods in which the colony was administered. This will then take us to assessing the long-standing impacts (The Anglophone Crisis) of colonialism in Cameroon.
Procedure
Different methods are required to attain this, such as group exchange, self reflection, and videos. By so doing, participants will be expected to navigate through the process, while researching on the possible strategies to overcome the impact and especially the ones directly affected by colonialism. Participants are also given a moment to reflect in the areas they see lacking to better their understanding.
