BEYOND LABELS – Challenging Stereotypes and Discrimination Together
Age Group: students between the ages of 11–18 years
Expected prior knowledge: No prior knowledge is required
Background
In today’s world, where stereotypes often cloud our perceptions and barriers divide us, it’s crucial to cultivate a deeper understanding of one another and foster a more inclusive society. Stereotypes often limit and distort our understanding of others. By acknowledging their existence, we can actively work to move beyond these preconceived notions. Understanding the harm stereotypes cause is the first step toward dismantling them.
This workshop seeks to empower participants, fostering a deeper connection among individuals and inspiring positive change. By embracing diversity and breaking down barriers, we can create a more empathetic and compassionate world.
