Target group: 13 years and older
Background
In terms of numbers, the gender ratio in youth committees looks fairly balanced. At the same time, many leadership roles are still held by male members and access to politics is still characterized by patriarchal structures.
Procedure
In the workshop, participants will learn about basic terms and concepts of gender in politics. We will then discuss experiences of political work in relation to gender relations. Do the findings presented match the reality of youth committee work?
We will also try out practical methods for more equality and discrimination-sensitive committee work and then reflect on these together.
