Democracy and Digitization
Time required: 4 – 6 hours
Age group: from 16 years
Number of participants: 8 – 18 people
Background
We are in a new era, also known as the digital revolution. At the same time, we are experiencing a decline in democratic values. Digitalization plays a decisive role here, as it also contributes significantly to the change in values.
Aims
This workshop is about the relationship between democracy and digitalization. What are the meanings and barriers?
The focus is on dealing with democratic values: Which values are central to us? Which values do we agree on and commit to? On this basis, the workshop asks to what extent we can use democracy to positively embrace new technologies without jeopardizing them.
Notes
- The workshop is offered in German and French.
- It can be held online, but also as a face-to-face workshop.
