Background
Have you heard of this? Right-wing extremists who are committed to animal welfare and nature conservation? Who perhaps even practise organic farming? That’s not possible, is it? That is possible!
Protecting the »German« landscape, the native flora and fauna and the »German« soil is a commitment to »homeland protection« – and therefore a central component of nationalist and right-wing ideologies. But are right-wing extremists concerned with protecting nature and the environment?
Procedure and aims
The workshop imparts knowledge on the topic of »brown ecology«. Participants will be able to identify right-wing extremist ideas in nature conservation and environmental protection.
We will also look together at the historical development of right-wing extremist nature conservation, then take a look back to the present and consider right-wing extremist efforts to take up ecological issues in the here and now.
