Train the Trainer in Civic Education 2019
Migration, Refuge & Asylum: Designing Workshops for Youth on the Topic of Human Rights
13. – 14. April 2019
We warmly invite you to take take part in this year’s education program in workshop facilitation on human rights issues. We want our pool of trainers to grow and become more diverse. In particular, we want to include more trainers with migration or refugee backgrounds. With this training program we aim to qualify people interested in workshop and seminar facilitation to work in the field of civic education at our centre and beyond.
We will focus on specific topics in small working groups, exchanging experiences, and learning from each other. The outcomes from these working groups will be transformed into methods for a workshop format for young people. The seminar will be held in English and German.
We would like to encourage in particular – but not exclusively – people with first-hand refugee experience, regardless of their current status and education to apply.
